A really fun and casual off-roader will soon be offered by Kia automaker. Its new concept Forte Koup for SEMA that hearkens back to days when dune buggies and baja bugs ruled, represents the adventurous American South.
Kia gave the little coupe a four-inch suspension lift, allowing the fitment of chunky 28-inch off-road tires. The car is prepared to take on serious terrain. Inspired by dune buggies of the past, the Mud Bogger features a panoramic retractable vinyl roof that allows for a classic open-air off-road experience.
Inside, durable Line-X coating is applied in place of carpets makes for worry-free maintenance for when your shoes are a little muddy. Two bright-red Sparco Evo II race seats keep occupants stable during high-speed desert pre-running, and a specialized hand-built rollcage keeps the cabin structural when things turn upside-down.
The Kia Forte Koup Mud Bogger makes its official debut at the SEMA show in Las Vegas next week.
